FINANCIAL ANALYSIS PROJECT

Ratios Group Project

This artifact is the Financial Analysis Project from PBHL-H352: Health Finance and Budgeting. In this project, my group and I completed a financial analysis of Lake Community Hospital using liquidity, profitability, activity, and capital structure ratios. The goal was to evaluate the hospital's financial health and interpret how those results inform strategic decision-making in a competitive healthcare environment.

What I learned

I selected this assignment because it represents one of the most complete applications of financial analysis skills I developed throughout the course. It required me to go beyond calculations and actually interpret what the numbers meant for a healthcare organization. I spent a significant amount of time working through each ratio and understanding how they interact to reflect overall financing performance. I also found it valuable because it brought together multiple concepts from the course into one cohesive analysis, making it a strong example of my growth in health finance.
