My time as a Student Administrative Assistant at the IU School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics was beneficial in many ways. I gained hands-on experience in administrative work and learned how to manage my time effectively by completing assignments during slower periods, which helped me stay on top of all my responsibilities. I also worked on office projects for the Administrative Coordinator and the HR Program Manager while fostering efficient communication through personal interactions. Overall, this role provided a strong foundation in professionalism and administrative operations, preparing me for future roles in healthcare settings.

Because I enjoyed my previous experience working in academic administration, I currently serve as a Student Administrative Assistant at the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. In this role, I greet students, staff, and visitors to create a welcoming and supportive environment, manage incoming mail and deliveries to ensure accurate distribution, and complete office tasks while balancing my school assignments. This position allows me to continue strengthening my communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
