Development of a Harm Reduction Program
This artifact is a harm reduction program proposal completed for PBHL-H315: Hig-Risk Health Behaviors and Harm Reduction. In this assignment, I developed a program aimed at reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections and violence among sex workers through education, prevention, and supportive community-based care.

What I learned
I chose this assignment for my portfolio because it challenged me to think about healthcare from a public health and community-centered perspective. Developing a harm reduction program for individuals at risk of STIs and violence helped me better understand the importance of creating supportive, accessible, and compassionate interventions for vulnerable populations. This assignment strengthened my skills in program planning, research, and critical thinking while showing how healthcare can make a meaningful different in underserved communities.
